What does casaGURU mean?

“Casa” means house in Spanish while “guru” refers to a teacher, expert or leader. Put together casaGURU means "house expert" and refers to the fact that every professional listed on casaGURU.com has been screened for proper levels of training, licensing and business insurance.

Isn’t every home service professional a "GURU"?

We would hope so, but in fact there are a lot of “shoddy” professionals that take advantage of homeowners today. Only accredited home service professionals that are members of recognized associations, have proper insurance coverage, and business licensing are invited to join casaGURU.

Through our technology and a strict verification process, the casaGURU website only connects homeowners with accredited house experts.

If the professional does not meet all of our standards, they can’t join the community. If they don’t abide by the casaGURU Code of Conduct, then they removed from the community and prevented from joining again.

What can I learn about each "GURU"?

We provide detailed profile pages on each house professional's business and the information we have researched and verified - which can include information on their education, training, qualifications, licensing, insurance coverage, and both homeowner ratings and professional reviews - so that homeowners can make more educated decisions about which professionals they hire.
