Both owners of Laurel Group Inc. have been involved with local Custom and New homebuilders for many years, where each partner has become a professional in each of there roles. With over 20 years of combined experience in Architectural Design and Construction Management, this partnership is set up for success.

These two professionals have combined there years of experience to create a company of there own, one that is dedicated to providing homeowners, staff and trades with superior quality, service and commitment.

Meet your Builders

Jeremy Marchildon – Coming from a renovation background, Jeremy has been involved in numerous types of projects, and still to this day enjoys getting his hands dirty. Building homes was a natural transition from renovation projects and Jeremy started with a medium sized new homebuilder in the Guelph area as their Customer Service Representative. After a very short period Jeremy moved up in position to site supervisor, and then eventually to Construction Manager. Over seeing multiple projects and managing other site supervisors, Jeremy worked at perfecting his construction scheduling and quality control program. Jeremy has always been focused on building the best possible home and ensuring that every detail is being completed to the best possible standards.

Michael Tomlinson - Michael was raised by a master carpenter and accomplished designer, and spent a good portion of his childhood on jobsites. Throughout high school and college he worked side by side with his mentor, which gave him not only a solid foundation of design but a true understanding of the building process. It was a natural progression for Michael to then start his own design firm while working as a draftsman in 1998. He joined a medium sized home builder where he gained further knowledge of how to design cost effectively at the same time gaining an understanding of clients needs and wants to create a home that suits their individual lifestyles. After running his own firm for the last five years Michael has come to the conclusion that to continue to be successful and create truly custom homes, he must keep evolving as a designer and work with his clients to design and build a one of a kind home.
