The National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) has been at the center of the kitchen and bath industry for more than 45 years. Its mission is to enhance member success and excellence, promote professionalism and ethical business practices, and provide leadership and direction for the industry.
The NKBA is also the owner of the Kitchen/Bath Industry Show & Conference (K/BIS®)—the world’s largest kitchen and bath tradeshow. K/BIS brings industry professionals from across the globe to exchange ideas on kitchen and bathroom design.
The NKBA offers a host of services to strengthen the professional knowledge of the association’s more than 40,000 members. These members are spread across over 70 chapters throughout the United States and Canada. The NKBA offers more than 100 professional development courses that members can attend to enhance their design and business skills.
In addition, members are able to earn kitchen and bath design certifications based on stringent academic and design exams, as well as years of industry experience. More than 3,400 professionals are currently certified by the National Kitchen & Bath Association. There are also more than 50 colleges and universities across North America with kitchen and bath design programs accredited or supported by the NKBA, ensuring that they meet rigorous educational standards.
