• This is a bizarre category to find a favorite for, but we couldn't resist! The Lancaster Arts Hotel is a boutique operation housed in an 1881 tobacco warehouse, and this chair is inspired by that background.

Favourite Sofas

• The Conran Shop carries the zany Polder Sofa, an extra-extra large mash-up seating arrangement that consists of five different fabric textures and many hand-finished buttons in materials like bamboo and mother of pearl. Quirky; we love it.
• The Pleats Sofa from Modus, is one of our favorite-ever sofas. Designed by Stephen Burks, the pleated surface is imaginatively sewn by technicians in a Scottish knit factory.

Favourite Coffee Table

• Matthew Kroeker has great furniture and industrial design ideas, and his Oma coffeetable offers a removable plastic tray that also flips to seamlessly continue the walnut veneer of the surface.
