Technological advancement makes housework easier. Here are an array of helpful appliances homeowners will enjoy.
Favourite hot and helpful appliances:
- UK-based Fagor came out this year with the niftiest new laundry system, their DrIron. It's the first ever drier and ironing machine. Clothes come out wrinkle-free due to a unique moisture extraction system. Clothes last a lot longer when you don't have to iron them, too.
- General Electric's Front-Load Dryer has been given the highest dryer ratings by many consumer advocacy and testing groups lately. The big advantage is that it monitors the dampness of clothing and let's you know when to take clothes out of the dryer before they become too dry (yes, drying fabric too much is not a good thing).
- The Siemens automatic vacuum cleaner adjusts automatically to different floor surfaces to get the maximum cleaning power required, from hardwood floors to carpeting to shag. The machine is designed to use less energy than most vacuums, it's built to function quietly, and it claims to filter out allergens and irritants and make your home's air cleaner. We like the no-bending-over-to-adjust-the-machine part.
- The Allergy Buyers Club is serious about keeping your house clean, so we went through their product offerings to look for a great home cleaning system. The Ladybug XL2300 Vapor Steam Cleaner, equipped with a feature (TANCS) that disinfects and kills microbes, is serious commercial-strength cleaning power. And it's great to skip using harmful chemicals, too.
