New, hot, home design "must-haves".

 

At the end of January, the design world was treated to another Maison et Objet, a Paris gathering that's part fashion and part home design. We preach against treating design as a fashionable thing, to try to see the intrinsic value of objects apart from whether or not they are the "right" colors or part of the "hot" new trend. But it's fun to see what's new, hot, and -- according to so-called experts -- must-haves for your home. Here are a few of our favorites from the January show.
