Interior Redesign, a specialization of some home staging professionals, is sometimes referred to as the “One Day Room Makeover”.
It is the transformation of a living space by rearranging and re-using a homeowner’s current furniture and accessories in a more cohesive manner, making the space more functional and attractive. It is a great option for those homeowners that are on a limited decorating budget or those that are particularly attached to their existing furnishings.
Interior ReDesigner Associations
While a number of organizations offer redesign training as part of a home staging education, there are two major associations that accredit redesign professionals in North America: Interior Redesign Industry Specialists (IRIS) and the Canadian ReDesigners Association (CRDA).
The CRDA is a partner association in the casaGURU Network, where homeowners can search for a local interior redesigner on casaGURU.
