More than just a means to supply tap water, a faucet is the jewel of the bathroom and there are many options for you to choose from.in
There are two essential elements to every faucet set:
- Spout
- Handles or levers
The spout is where the water comes out and the handles control water flow and temperature.
Center Set
- One of the most popular faucets for the bathroom.
- The spout and both the hot and cold handles are mounted on a single base unit.
- You may also choose a single levered or knob Center Setwhich is popular for the kitchen.
Wall Mounted
- This faucet is mounted on the wall above the sink.
- This type of unit works well with vessel sinks and in bathrooms with limited counter space.
Deck Mounted
- A Deck Mounted faucet set is mounted on the deck of the sink or counter top for an under-mounted sink.
- This style may or may not have a base plate that sits beneath the faucet and handles.
Bridge Style
- A Bridge style faucet has tubes that connect the handles to the faucet.
- Normally these tubes are concealed below the counter, but with this style of faucet, they are incorporated into the design of the unit.
- This faucet is most often used in traditionally-styled sets.
